CHROOCOCCIDIOPSIS

A series of photographs showing green algae and cyanobacteria. Algae and photosynthetic bacteria are the oldest and most primitive organisms known. Some species are resistant to extreme high and low temperature, ionizing radiation and high salinity. They are being used for terraforming – the experimental research to create life on other planets.
